Pine Tree Motel and Cabins

Our recent stay was great! Central to everything you want to see with the comforts you need after a day of adventures. The hospitality was wonderful. Fresh coffee waiting in the morning and a delightful pair of proprietors. They ensured our stay was an experience onto its own. Being puppy friendly made our stay one to remember. If you want a getaway with a rustic flair, this is the place to stay.

Great little getaway spot. The owners are very sweet and accommodating. They were able to help me and family out with a place to stay for the season so we can work on our property near by. Great people and place.

I visited for a weekend with a group of friends and their children, we all had an amazing time. Great setup for communal cooking with a grill and shaded picnic tables, comfortable cabins with AC (!!), a great bonfire area, and very close to a nice beach. Norleen was so lovely, she made our stay that much nicer. We would all go back again anytime.

Pine Tree Cabins is wonderful. Norleen and Bert couldn't be nicer! Thank you so much for your warm welcome. We felt like we were family there. Rooms are spotless. Beds so comfortable. Sheets have the line dried in the sunshine feel...just like we all used to do! Love the knotty pine and Adirondack decor. Microwave and fridge is a nice perk, too. Their dog Pierce is so friendly and will welcome you with a wagging tail. This is the place to go to relax and enjoy. The covered picnic tables, swing set and teeter totters for the children, fire pit and a chance to meet such friendly folks around a campfire make it even nicer. We will be back!

I loved it there. They are cozy little cabins. They have a full bathrooms, TV, refrigerator and microwave. They provide coffee in the morning at the office. They have a fire pit outback for people to gather. It’s nice getting to know the other guest. The office also provides the marshmallows. I would definitely go there again.

I wish I could give them 10 stars!!! My boyfriend and I stumbled on this place driving ( July 2024) and decided to stay a night due to the day being stormy. Norleen was lovely! After we checked out, later that day we were at a primitive camping site that was infested with mosquitos. We couldn't take it any longer and decided to go back to Norleen's. At about 11:50pm at night I rang the door bell, and Norleen was super gracious and was worried about our return. I explained we didn't want to deal with the mosquitos anymore and tried to hold out. She ended up letting us stay the night without paying first and was gracious enough to let us pay for the room in the morning. Our 2 days spent here was absolutely amazing! We loved having the balcony. The place was super cute and cozy. Norleen was super nice and I recommended this place if your ever int he area!!!

The Pine Tree Motel and Cabins is a hidden gem in Chestertown, NY. I booked a cabin here during a family reunion when our house was bulging at the seams, and it was a lifesaver. The Room: My cabin featured two beds and a private bath. It was cozy, well-maintained, and provided a quiet, comfortable sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of a large group. Location: You can’t beat the convenience. It’s located right on State Rt 8, only a couple of miles from the highway and a very short trip (about a mile) to the Loon Lake beach. Overall: Even a few years later, I have fond memories of my stay. It’s a great spot for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and peaceful place to stay in the Adirondacks. I’m definitely looking forward to returning!

I really enjoyed my short stay. My cabin was comfortable and had a mini-fridge and microwave and decent stowage space plus a table of really good size and great internet, an AC that did not make weird or loud noises, and satellite TV. The bathroom was particularly spacious. My host, Norleen, was most kind and helpful, and eager to ensure my visit would be enjoyable. I stayed during high season, and for a Canadian who has to contend with a 1.35 to 1 exchange rate, the price was a little more than I'd hoped to pay for the type of accommodation involved.
